Details about Bridge Course - 2011

Bridge course is meant for students who have written 10th Board examination or 10th school examination. The course starts on 01-04-2011 and ends on 15-05-2011. Those who join the course will have to stay with their parents or in this institution hostel. The course fee is Rs. 10000/- which is to be given as crossed draft payable at Thrissur at the time of joining. Admission starts from 01-02-2011. For joining the Bridge course, the student need not necessarily be present. Two passport size photos are to be brought. Bridge course will be conducted at three places.

1) Elamthuruthy residential campus, 6 km from Thrissur (draft in favour of Prof. P. C. Thomas)

2) Kombidi residential campus, near Vijayagiri Public School, about 30 km from Thrissur (draft in favour of Prof. P. C. Thomas).

3) Chaithanya Classes, West Fort, Thrissur. (draft in favour of Chaithanya Classes) For admission to Chaithanya Classes, you have to contact Chaithanya Classes, West Fort, Thrissur-4. Ph: 0487-2380592, 2333792.

Four subjects will be taught. They are (1) Physics (2) Chemistry (3) Maths (4) Biology / Computer.

There will be 10 mts objective type examination on every working day. You need join only if you are satisfied with the programme.

Note:-

1) Those who join the Bridge Course and successfully complete it with a percentage 70 and above in the examination will be given preference to Regular Bridge Course for two years at Vijayagiri Public School as well as Thrissur Centre. They will be considered for admission to our hostels.

2) During the 260 hours of Bridge Course, the basic principles of 1st year Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology/Computer will be taught. The course will make regular school classes easier and make them engaged in creative work during the vacation. It will not be a substitute for the school classes but a very good supplement.

3) Hostel fee will be Rs. 4000/- per month. Those who are joining Prof. P. C. Thomas Classes will have to take the crossed draft in favour of Prof. P. C. Thomas, payable at Thrissur. Those who are joining Chaithanya Classes will have to take the crossed draft in favour of St. Beatrice Girls Hostel, payable at Thrissur. Those who want hostel accommodation will have to register their names at the time of joining the Bridge Course.
