Admission 2011 at Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC), Chandigarh
Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC), Chandigarh of Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) has invited applications for admission to the following courses of Year 2011.
(1) 3 -Year Diploma in Instrument Technology
(2) 4- Year Advanced Diploma in Die & Mould Making
(3) 4- Year Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics & Industrial Automation
ADMISSION:
The admission is open to Boys as well as Girls who have passed their qualifying examination from recognized boards in India. Admission will be granted on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test to be conducted by ISTC on 07.08.2011 (Sunday) at Chandigarh.
ELIGIBILITY:
Candidate must have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Science and English subjects from any recognized school / board. Those who have appeared in the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply.
AGE: Those born on or after 1st September 1992 (1st September 1989 in case of SC/ST candidates) are eligible.
HOW TO APPLY FORM ON-LINE:• Application form along with detailed relevant information is available on website www.csio.res.in.The application form is required to be filled on-line.
The charges for cost of Application form including examination fee are Rs.1000/- (Rs 500/- For SC/ST Candidates) in the form of crossed Demand Draft issued on or after 15.05.2011 in favour of Director CSIO, payable preferabaly at State Bank of India, Sector 30, Chandigarh (Code 1443).•
Demand draft of requisite fee must be ready with the applicant before filling up the application form on-line as the number of DD has to be mentioned there. On successful submission, a Registration number would be generated by the system. The applicant should note this registration number carefully as it would be required for all subsequent purposes such as printing of Application form/ Admit & Attendance card/ future correspondence etc.
A print out of the submitted application form with a passport size colour photograph (Size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) affixed at appropriate place duly attested by the gazetted officer/ principal is required to be posted to the Principal, Indo- Swiss Training Centre, CSIO, Sector-30, Chandigarh-160030 so as to reach this office on or before June 30, 2011 by 5.00 PM along with the following documents:a) Demand Draft of requisite feeb) Two additional identical unattested photographs (as pasted on application form),c) Attested photocopies of certificates such as qualifying exam, Date of Birth proofd) Attested photocopy of Reserved Category (i.e. SC/ST), Kashmiri migrants, physically challenged, wherever applicable.
