All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore has invited applications for admission to the following courses of Academic Year 2011-12, from candidates having eligibility as mentioned against respective courses:
1. BASLP:
Students who have passed with minimum of 50% in II PUC in the PCMB group or any other examination (10+2) considered as equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore with at least three subjects from among Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, who have not completed 21 years, as on 1st July of the academic year in which admission is sought, are eligible for admission. [Entrance Examination will be conducted at Mysore, Mumbai, Delhi , Kolkata, Chennai, Bhopal for admission to the BASLP programme on 4 June 2011 (Saturday) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology]
2. BSEd (Hearing Impairment):
Students who have passed BEd degree examination of the University of Mysore or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore with minimum of 50% of the aggregate and who have not completed 30 years of age as on the 1st July of the academic year in which admission is sought are eligible for admission. Relaxation of age (up to 10 years) shall be considered for candidates on deputation/ in-service with the approval of the University.
3. PG Diploma in Clinical Linguistics for Speech-language Pathology:
Candidates with BSc (Sp. & Hg) or equivalent from any recognized university and approved by RCI with 50% marks.
Candidates with BSc (Sp. & Hg) or equivalent from any recognized university and approved by RCI with 50% marks.
4. PG Diploma in Forensic Speech Sciences and Technology:
Candidates having BSc with Physics / Mathematics / Electronics / Computer Science / Forensic Science / Speech and Hearing as major component at BSc Level; BE / BTech / Electronics / Computer Science / Communication; MBBS from a recognized University / Institute.
5. PG Diploma in Neuro-Audiology:
Candidates having BSc (Sp. & Hg.) / BASLP / MBBS / Masters in clinical psychology / experimental psychology / cognitive psychology with Neuro - psychology.
6. MSc (Audiology) & MSc (Speech-Language Pathology):
BSc (Sp. & Hg)/BASLP Degree of the University of Mysore or any other University approved by RCI and considered equivalent with 50% marks. Entrance examination will be held on 16.07.2011 at AIISH, Mysore.
7. MSEd (Hearing Impairment):
Candidates who have passed BEd degree examination and BEd (HI) / BSEd (HI) or equivalent of the University of Mysore or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore with minimum of 50% of the aggregate and who have not completed 30 years of age as on the 1st July of the academic year in which admission is sought are eligible for admission. Relaxation of age (up to 5 years) shall be considered for candidates on deputation/ in-service with the approval of the University.
8. PhD (Audiology / Speech- Language Pathology):
MSc (Audiology / Speech Language Pathology) / MASLP / MSc (Speech & Hearing) OR equivalent with 55% marks with one year work / research experience.
9. Post-Doctoral Fellowship:
PhD from a recognized University in the area of speech, language and / or hearing; Research experience and at least two publications as main author singly / jointly in indexed journals.
