The Common Wealth Games is the sports festival of Common Wealth Countries .J Astley Cooper is called as 'The founder of Common wealth games'.The games are held once every four years.The common wealth games began in 1930 at Hamilton ,Canada.The Common Wealth games were originally called the British Empire Games .From 1978 it began to be known as Common wealth Games .Kuala Lumpur( Malaysia,1998)is the first Asianvenue for commonwealth games.The venue for the 2010 games is Delhi.Australia hosted most number of Commonwealth games.The First Youth Common Wealth games were held in Bendigo (Australia, 2004) 18th Commonwealth games were held at Melbourne.Australia hosted the Commonwealth games,Sydney(1938)Perth(1962)Brisbane(1982),Melbourne(2006)
